This summer Hollywood paid a visit to Cleveland for quite some time. Marvel’s “Captain America The Winter Solider” began filming on May 20 and stayed in Cleveland for about a month. Locals, fans and those who were curious filled the sidewalks in neighborhoods like historic Tremont and University Circle while the actors and actresses of the film were spotted after hours at hot spots around town including the Tilted Kilt and TownHall.
Yesterday the official trailer of the movie was released. ‘Captain America The Winter Solider” stars Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and Cobie Smulders. It’s set to hit theaters in April 2014.

Clevelanders were active on Twitter during the filming, tweeting photos of sets and sightings of actors. Some people living next to one of the sets were promised cookies in exchange for being quiet during filming:
