Taking over the space at 3355 Richmond Road in Beachwood, Antica Italian Kitchen + Bar opened its second location on March 20. The restaurant is owned by Fadi Daoud, who also owns its sister and neighbor restaurant, Heck’s Cafe.

Antica, which fills the space that was previously Red, the Steakhouse, serves handmade pasta, pizza, vegetable dishes and additional main courses authentic to different regions of Italy, using imported and locally sourced ingredients, according to a news release.

“(We offer) a full bar and scratch-made food,” Antica manager Zach Frye tells the Cleveland Jewish News.

It aims to bring a “similar elegant ambiance” as Heck’s Cafe, the release adds. With an indoor and outdoor bar, an indoor dining area and a seated patio area, Antica offers multiple private dining rooms for events as well.

Antica’s first location is at 35568 Detroit Road in Avon.

“We are delighted to bring the Antica experience to the vibrant community of Beachwood,” Daoud says in the release. “Our mission has always been to celebrate the rich tapestry of Italian cuisine while providing our guests with an unforgettable dining experience. We are confident that our newest location will become a beloved culinary destination for locals and visitors alike.”
