Buzzfeed.com created a list of 22 Things Clevelanders Love, many of which are Jewish and have Jewish connections!

1. Corned Beef Sandwiches from Slyman’s

Although this deli isn’t owned by members of the Tribe, it’s Jewish rye bread is known around town! In 2005 and 2006, it was voted as the best corned beef sandwich by The Cleveland Jewish News.

9. Rediscovering our childhood’s at Big Fun

Big Fun owner Steve Presser, a member of Park Synagogue in Cleveland Heights and Pepper Pike, has provided Clevelanders with nostalgia for over almost 22 years.

16. Unapologetically hating Art Modell and Lebron James

Obviously Lebron James isn’t Jewish, but Art Modell is the Jew that moved the Browns to Baltimore in 1996. Clevelanders may hate him, but he is a Jew that has impacted our city’s sports history and loyalty to the Dawg Pound.

23. Suprising out of towners with how awesome our city is–or  how much of a Jewish presence is in Cleveland!

With over 80,000 Jews living in Cleveland, the city is the 40th most populated Jewish city in the world.
