Tory Burch

Burch was inspired by the decorative styles of Austrian painter Gustav Klimt and René Lalique for her Fall 2013 free-spirited and romantic collection, Burch said in a blog post on her website. Dragonflies and scarabs make up the detail work in her collection and can be seen on printed dresses, as well as wrapped around the heels of shoes; metallic prints and patterns; mixed textures, and subtle volume. “It all centers around the idea of 24-hour dressing — special pieces to wear from day to evening,” Burch wrote.

Marc Jacobs (Marc by Marc Jacobs)

Jacobs’ ready-to-wear line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, is business saavy with a pop of funk. Pencil skirts and high-waisted pants are paired with red and lavender blouses for the perfect pop of fall color. Jacobs’ patterned dresses, skirts and suits can be your fall go-to statement piece. Cabernet reds, midnight blues, and pops of lavender in Jacobs’ line can be paired with neutral handbags and heels for go-to fall fashion statements.

Kenneth Cole

Cole’s fall 2013 collection features lots of leather, protective coats and jackets, long biker gloves, and open-toed lace-up boots. Vogue describes his fall line as “tough chic” and characterizes the collection as having an “urban warrior” feel. Cole’s fall color palette includes midnight blue, khaki green and charcoal mixed with black neutrals.

Max Azria

The BCBG Max Azria 2013 fall collection is is full of loose, long layers for those cold fall nights. Black and white patterns mixed with dark blues, reds and tribal designs create a laid-back feel to Azria’s runway ready looks. Vogue.com said of Azria’s collection, “As much as Max and Lubov Azria are designing for an L.A. sensibility, they are also dressing those who are simply California dreaming. That’s where their fall collection hits the mark.”

Zac Posen

Posen’s fall 2013 line was described as “Eloise Becomes a Lady” by Fashionista.com. Rich, sultry reds, midnight blues, powdery pinks and dark yellows and oranges characterize Posen’s line of mostly evening wear. Elegant pieces like structured jackets and peplums easily make the transition from the runway to everyday wear.
