Jewish community well represented on ‘Best Places to Eat in Cleveland’

Thrillist, an online outlet that covers food, drink, travel and entertainment in various U.S. cities, shined a light on Northeast Ohio recently when it published its list, “The Best Places to Eat in Cleveland Right Now.”

The list comprised 20 eateries in Greater Cleveland’s burgeoning restaurant scene. The region’s Jewish community was well represented, with fire food & drink in Cleveland’s Shaker Square neighborhood and Red, the Steakhouse in downtown Cleveland both making the cut.

Chef Doug Katz

Regarding chef Doug Katz’s fire food & drink, the site specifically applauded the restaurant’s ability to inspire new and regular customers to keep coming back. Giving a nod to Katz’s other ventures, they note fire is “the very best” of his culinary empire.

Red, the Steakhouse, behind YLT Red managing partner Gregg Levy, garnered accolades for what it’s best known – high-quality steak and seafood.
