Pinstripes

When it opened in July, Pinstripes introduced a unique mix of bowling and bocce to Greater Cleveland’s entertainment-dining landscape. In addition to focusing on sophisticated fun, Pinstripes offers a menu that features a modern take on rustic, Italian-American cuisine. It’s that combination of enjoyable experiences that founder and CEO Dale Schwartz, a Beachwood native, feels is integral to connecting family, friends and communities. The two-story complex offers indoor and outdoor dining – convenient for any season – and can host private events ranging from social celebrations to corporate gatherings.

Sweeties Big Fun

When you combine one of Northeast Ohio’s favorite toy stores and largest candy stores, you get Sweeties Big Fun. Steve Presser, owner of the former Big Fun toy store on Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights, joined forces with candy connoisseur Tom Scheiman, owner of b.a. Sweetie Candy Company in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood, to open the Pinecrest shop in July. Since then, it’s been a go-to location for those in search of timeless toys, sugary indulgences or nostalgic Cleveland merchandise.
