Gweneth Paltrow, a self-described “original Jewish mother,” and Johnny Depp will team up for the witty crime thriller, “Mortdecai,” based on the series of books by Kyril Bonfiglioli.
Paltrow and Ewan McGregor will star with Depp in the film, but the details of their roles have not been released.
The film is based on the final Mortdecai novel, “The Great Mortdecai Moustache Mystery.” The film will be directed by David Koepp (Premium Rush) and will tell the story of Mortdecai, an art dealer searching for Nazi treasures.
