Drake, our favorite Canadian Jewish rapper, released his new album, “Nothing Was the Same,” on Sept. 24. To promote the album Drake also released a music video for the album’s first single, “Hold On We’re Going Home.”
Don’t expect to spot any Stars of David in the music video. Instead, the video follows Drake, with a gun in hand, as he attempts to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend. Not exactly a Jewish-inspired video, but it was shot in Miami!
Drake recently performed his new single on the Ellen Degeneres Show. He told the talk show host that he experimented with different sounds for the new album.
