Autumnal allure

With the arrival of autumn, Northeast Ohioans turn to layered looks for warmth and cozy clothing for added comfort – all while staying fashionable for fall. Few places in the region are  as scenic this time of year as the Chagrin Valley, which is home to The Club at Hillbrook – where style and sophistication are always in season.

The Club at Hillbrook

Nestled in the picturesque Chagrin Valley, The Club at Hillbrook is rich with history and tradition. The elegant 40-room Tudor mansion dates back to 1919, when it was home to the former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Inside, there are thousands of leaded glass panes in windows, expertly crafted paneling and woodwork, and stately mantels of carved wood and marble.

When Hillbrook was sold in 1952, the new owner converted the mansion into a club. Today, The Club at Hillbrook continues to serve as a private full-service club, offering fine dining, accommodations and recreational opportunities – and countless Northeast Ohio couples have exchanged their wedding vows on its majestic grounds, where a rustic gazebo (above) often serves as a backdrop for photos.
