A Re-Cap of JCle

JCle, the organization that hosts social events for young Jewish Clevelanders held a happy hour last night at Nighttown jazz club in Cleveland Heights.  Despite the heat, about 50 of Cleveland’s young Jews filled the outside patio at Nighttown and spent the night schmoozing over everything from mojitos to Coronas.

A  mix of people came including those who had just finished their undergrad to people who are finishing their graduate programs. I was accompanied by two of my favorite co-workers, the lovely Maddie Winer and the shy but not shy Alex Felser (who I refer to as Alex Felserstein, just to be funny).

This was the first JCle outgoing for all us, and I must say I think we enjoyed ourselves, maybe a bit too much. With the sweat slowly dripping down our faces, we shook hands and conversed with some of the most interesting people in the young and thriving Cleveland Jewish community.

We met kids from Mexico, Israel, Arizona and and from both east and west sides of Cleveland. It was def an awesome time, and we are looking forward to the next event: the annual JCle “Jooze Cruise” happening August 22.
